My flat, located in the historic heart of Aix was recently remodeled with the finest quality materials and is furnished and outfitted as a personal residence rather than as a rental unit. It is, after all, my home in Aix and i love staying there. I’m sure you will too!
Its location on rue Chabrier, in the historic center of Aix en Provence, is seconds away from food, flower and antique markets, and makes it an ideal home away from home.
The two bedroom, loft like space, features custom hand made iron windows, Bisazza tile in the bath, an Arclinea kitchen, marble and Corian kitchen counters and colored concrete floors. The two bedrooms are independent, have doors and are completely private from the main living area.
The furnishings are an eclectic mix of interesting pieces and original artwork. I’m an interior designer by trade and amateur chef by preference.
The kitchen is outfitted for those who love to cook and entertain, with Kitchen Aid mixer, blender, food processor, gas cook top, huge oven, microwave, pretty much every cooking utensil, pot or pan you could think of and an American refrigerator with water and ice dispensers.
There are many sets of vintage plates, serving pieces and linens at your disposal along with all the usual modern varieties. Let your imagination go wild creating a beautiful table setting while your partner in crime is cooking up a wonderful dinner from products and produce purchased just outside the front door….Or call for a reservation or takeout from one of the hundreds of local restaurants
